The highly anticipated retreat of Health to Health (H2H) is set to take place on September 15th - 16th, 2023, at Hotel Fuchsbräu, Hauptstraße 23, 92339 Beilngries. The workshop occurred on July 29th, 2023, and was co-located with the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) at Hawaii Convention Center (Honolulu, Hawaii). This workshop brought together interdisciplinary scientists and practitioners working in medicine, pathology and biology, for presenting new methods and solutions for healthcare challenges across the full range of multimodal patient data. The workshop included Prof. Julia Schnabel and Prof. Andreas Maier as co-organizers, Prof. Fabian Theis as keynote speaker, and Prof. Daniel Rücker as panelist. Read more.

On July 10th-14th, 2023, took place the symposium of the Pattern Recognition Lab (led by Prof. Andreas Maier) in Jaromice nad Rokytnou (Czech Republic). The event featured over 50 oral and poster presentations with the most recent advances of Ph.D. candidates from the lab in medical imaging, computer vision, inverse problems, time series, sensing, and speech processing.
